PA-32RT-300

The PA-32RT-300, marketed as the Lance II, is a retractable gear variant introduced by PIPER Aircraft in 1978. It succeeded the PA-32R-300 Cherokee Lance and was part of the highly successful PA-32 series, which traces its lineage back to the Piper PA-32 Cherokee Six. This model, produced between 1978 and 1979, is powered by a Lycoming IO-540-K1G5D engine and seats up to six passengers plus a crew of two. It features an exterior height of 9 feet 6 inches and a wing span of 32 feet 8 inches, with a maximum takeoff weight of 3600 pounds.

PIPER Aircraft, founded by William T. Piper Sr. in 1927 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, is a foundational company in general aviation. Known for popularizing private aircraft ownership with models like the Cub and the Cherokee series, PIPER has a long history of developing reliable, high-production aircraft.

A suite of access solutions is utilized for maintenance across the PA-32RT-300. The Reach Deck Platform and Super Maintenance Platform support detailed access to the Nose Section for radome and avionics work, and the Forward Fuselage for cabin and ECS tasks. The Cantilever Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms are helpful for the Wing Box Area, including fuel tanks and oil maintenance. For the Landing Gear and Tail Section (including stabilizers and rudder), portable units such as the Ultraraise, Easyraise, and Super Service Stand ensure comprehensive access.
