PA-32-301T

The PA-32-301T, known commercially as the Turbo Saratoga SP, is a high-performance, single-engine aircraft produced by PIPER Aircraft. This turbocharged model originated as part of the PA-32R series, which saw the 1980 models revert to a standard tail design and adopt the “Saratoga SP” designation. The PA-32R-301T was a long-running variant produced from 1980 to 2009, prized for its capability and speed, establishing it as a popular six-seat private and business transport.

PIPER Aircraft’s history dates back to 1927, making it one of the “Big Three” manufacturers in American general aviation. The company, originally established as the Taylor Aircraft Company, was restructured by William T. Piper in 1937, leading to decades of producing foundational aircraft, including the widespread Cherokee and various executive lines like the Saratoga family.

A comprehensive range of platforms and access solutions are utilized to support maintenance across this aircraft. Modular stepover platforms, trestle scaffold, and cantilever platforms address access to the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Avionics), the Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine components, Hydraulics, Fuel Tanks), and the Middle Fuselage (Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, Cabin Interior). Other platforms and stands provide access for inspecting and servicing the Landing Gear and the AFT Fuselage sections, ensuring detailed and methodical maintenance procedures can be performed safely across the airframe.
