PA-28-236

The PA-28-236 Dakota is a four-place, single-engine aircraft developed by PIPER Aircraft. Certified on June 1, 1978, the Dakota is an evolution of the Cherokee design. It is defined by its fixed landing gear, a tapered wing design, and a powerful 235 horsepower Lycoming O-540-J3A5D engine. The PA-28-236 offers a useful load of 1,401 pounds and was manufactured between 1979 and 1994, with approximately 750 units built.

PIPER Aircraft’s history dates back to 1937 when William T. Piper established the company and launched the iconic Piper Cub. Throughout its history, PIPER has been foundational in general aviation, establishing a dealer network early on and introducing successful aircraft like the PA-23 Apache and the PA-46 Malibu.

Servicing the PA-28-236 requires efficient access to various sections. Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stands are applicable across the Nose Section, Forward Fuselage, Landing Gear, and Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area. These access solutions are indispensable for thorough inspections and maintenance.

For work on the Wing & Engine Pylon—including the engine components, hydraulics, and fuel tanks—equipment like the Cantilever Platform and Super Maintenance Platform provide safe, precise positioning. The A Frame Aviation Platform is suitable for detailed methodical access to the Tail Section (Empennage) and AFT Fuselage components, ensuring first-class maintenance across all critical areas of the aircraft.
