The PA-25-235/A2 is a variant of the Piper PA-25 Pawnee, a dedicated agricultural aircraft. The foundational design for the Pawnee series originated with Fred Weick, who developed the initial concept for an agricultural aircraft in the early 1950s. The PA-25 line is primarily used for crop dusting and spraying.
PIPER Aircraft’s history is foundational to general aviation. Established in 1937 by William T. Piper, the company’s roots trace back to the Taylor Brothers Aircraft Manufacturing Company in 1927. After a factory fire in 1937, the company relocated to Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and was renamed Piper Aircraft Corporation. PIPER is known for manufacturing a wide range of light aircraft, from the iconic Cub to more advanced models.
A variety of platforms and access solutions support maintenance for the PA-25-235/A2. Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Deck access the Wing Box and Fuel Tanks in the Middle Fuselage. Cantilever Platform and Super Maintenance Platform provide access for engine maintenance (Inlet/Exhaust, Engine Body, Flap) and Wing Pylon areas. For detailed work on the Nose Section (Avionics, Windshield) and Tail Section (Stabiliser, Rudder), smaller stands like Platform Ladder Warthog and Ultraraise are ideal. Super Trestle Scaffold offers access versatility across the Fuselage and Landing Gear components.
