PA-25-150

The PA-25-150 Pawnee is the initial production version of the PA-25 series, designed specifically for agricultural work, such as spraying and dusting. Manufactured by PIPER Aircraft, the PA-25 Pawnee remains a widely used utility aircraft, also serving effectively as a tug for launching gliders or towing banners. This specific model is equipped with a 150 hp Lycoming O-320 engine and has a foundational payload capacity for agricultural applications.

PIPER Aircraft’s history is deeply rooted in American aviation, founded by William T. Piper in 1937. Originally known for simple, affordable aircraft like the Cub, the company expanded its offerings over the decades to include foundational utility planes like the Pawnee. The PA-25 Pawnee was introduced in the late 1950s. While production under PIPER ended, the design rights and support transitioned to other entities in 1988, affirming its lasting importance in the utility aircraft segment.

Access solutions are indispensable for methodical maintenance around this aircraft. Platforms and stands support detailed tasks on the fuselage, tail section, and wing areas, ensuring mechanics can reach the rudder, horizontal stabilizer, and wing components. Specialized equipment facilitates safe access to the nose section and landing gear, ensuring efficient inspections and servicing of the NLG and MLG. Maintenance platforms are ideal for servicing the engine (inlet/exhaust, body, and fan), while modular platforms assist with general airframe maintenance.
