PA-25

The PA-25 Pawnee is a dedicated agricultural aircraft known for its high-wing design, primarily used for aerial spraying, glider towing, and banner towing. Designed by Fred Weick, the Pawnee began production in 1959 and continued until 1982, with over 5,000 units manufactured. It remains a widely used utility aircraft.

The manufacturer, PIPER Aircraft Corporation, was established by William T. Piper in 1937. The company’s foundational aircraft, the Piper Cub, was introduced shortly after. Throughout its history, the company has developed a broad portfolio of general aviation aircraft, including significant models like the PA-23 Apache and PA-46 Malibu, shaping the industry through its dealer network and engineering innovation.

A variety of access solutions are employed for the PA-25. Platforms provide access to the nose section (Radome, Antenna, Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead) and forward fuselage areas (Lighting Systems, Cabin Access, Forward Wheel Well Access). Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Decks are paramount for accessing the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, including Fuel Tanks and Oil Maintenance points, as well as the Wing & Engine Pylon sections for work on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Hydraulics, and Fuel Tanks/Pumps. Trestle scaffolds and maintenance platforms allow thorough access to the Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser, Rudder).
