PA-24

PIPER Aircraft, founded in 1937 by William T. Piper, evolved from the Taylor Aircraft Co. and became foundational in general aviation with aircraft like the Piper Cub. The PA-24 Comanche, launched in 1958, was a low-wing, single-engine, four-place civil utility aircraft that quickly became central to the company’s lineup. It was offered in several variants, including the popular 250 hp model. Production of the Comanche, along with the Twin Comanche, ceased abruptly in 1972 after a flood destroyed the production lines, leading Piper to focus on newer designs.

A range of platforms and access solutions are available for this aircraft. Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms offer access for the Nose Section’s avionics and cockpit areas. Stands and Platform Ladders enable thorough maintenance of the Nose and Main Landing Gears. For the Middle Fuselage, including the Wing Box and fuel tanks, Bridge Decks and Cantilever Platforms provide sturdy access. The range of solutions supports maintenance across the entire airframe, including the Wing & Engine Pylon components and all sections of the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage).
