PA-22-108

The PA-22-108, known as the Colt, is a light aircraft built by PIPER Aircraft. It was powered by a 108 HP Lycoming O-235-C1B engine. Production spanned only three years, concluding in 1963, during which approximately 1,800 Colts were produced.

PIPER Aircraft’s history is foundational to general aviation. Established by the Piper family, the company is renowned for producing simple, sturdy, and popular aircraft for private ownership and flight training, with the Colt being a notable example of their commitment to the entry-level market.
