P68R VICTOR

The P68R VICTOR is a twin piston-engine, high-wing monoplane recognized for its reliability as a business and utility transport aircraft. It is a variant of the successful Partenavia P.68 Victor series, distinguished by its retractable undercarriage. The P.68R Victor received its certification on July 31, 1978.

The manufacturer, Vulcanair S.p.A., is rooted in the legacy of Partenavia, which was established in 1957 by Professor Luigi Pascale. Partenavia became renowned for its family of single-engine sport aircraft, leading eventually to the P.68 Victor and its derivatives. Vulcanair continues the production and support of the P.68 family today.

Maintaining the P68R VICTOR requires specialized access for thorough inspections and repairs. Access solutions like modular stepover platforms and cantilever platforms are ideal for reaching the nose section (radome, avionics, cockpit) and the forward fuselage (cabin access, environmental control system). Service stands and trestle scaffold are foundational for safe access to the middle fuselage/wing box area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance, emergency exit) and the main landing gear.

To address the wing, engine pylon, and tail section (vertical/horizontal stabilizer), equipment like a deck platform and aviation platform ladders are essential. These tools facilitate detailed maintenance around the engine, including the fan, compressor, and exhaust, as well as the entire aft fuselage.
