P206A

The P206A is a sub-variant of the Cessna 206 series, a powerful, six-seat light aircraft known for its rugged construction. The “P” designation stands for “passenger,” distinguishing it from the utility-focused U206. The P206, including the P206A, featured passenger doors similar to the Cessna 210, from which the 206 family was derived. The P206A was certified in 1965 and was powered by a 285 hp Continental IO-520-A engine.

Cessna Aircraft Company, the foundational manufacturer, introduced the original six-seat Model 206 in 1964. The P206 was added to the line in 1965. This family of aircraft was produced from 1962 until production halted in 1986, with the P206 specifically manufactured from 1965 to 1970. The entire 206 line was re-introduced in 1998 and remains in production today.

Specialized platforms and access solutions facilitate maintenance across the P206A. These include solutions like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand.
