P2012 Traveller

The P2012 Traveller is a twin-engine commuter aircraft, marking Tecnam’s entry into the commercial transport market. Designed by Luigi Pascale, the aircraft first flew in July 2016 and entered service in 2020. Certified under EASA CS-23 and FAA FAR Part 23, the P2012 is configured to carry up to nine passengers, serving commuter, charter, cargo, and medevac roles. Tecnam has delivered over 120 units worldwide and continues production.

Tecnam, the Italian manufacturer, has a legacy in general aviation dating back to 1948. While the company initially produced models like the P57 Fachiro, Tecnam was officially founded in 1986 to manufacture aircraft parts for other major aerospace companies. The P2012 Traveller represents the company’s significant evolution into the commercial sector.
