P-MENTOR

The P-MENTOR is a light aircraft conceived as a single-platform trainer for PPL and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training. Introduced in April 2022 and currently in production, the P-Mentor combines an advanced Garmin glass cockpit, a Rotax 912iSc3 engine, and an all-metal/composite airframe to deliver full IFR capability. This aircraft is now widely operated by flight schools globally.

The manufacturer, Tecnam (Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.p.A.), is an Italian aerospace company founded in 1986 by brothers Luigi and Giovanni Pascale, both veteran aircraft designers. Headquartered in Capua, Italy, Tecnam has established itself as a foundational builder of general aviation aircraft.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for detailed servicing around this aircraft. These systems, including the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms, provide crucial height access for work on the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics, windshield, and bulkhead), Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, cargo/baggage, and lighting systems), and Tail Section (vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and rudder). Specialized stands also support access for maintenance on the Landing Gear and Middle Fuselage areas, including the Wing Box and fuel tanks.
