P.68B

The P.68B is a light twin-engine aircraft developed by Partenavia Costruzioni Aeronautiche. Known for its high-wing configuration and suitability for observation and transport roles, the P.68 series first flew in May 1970 and has remained in production through various subsequent companies. The P.68B Victor variant, certified in 1974, featured a lengthened fuselage to increase cockpit space.

Partenavia Costruzioni Aeronautiche, an Italian manufacturer, played a foundational role in the aircraft’s history. The company initiated the P.68 program, designing the aircraft to be powered by two 200 hp engines. Over 431 units of the P.68 family have been built since its introduction, making it a successful, enduring design in light general aviation.

Maintenance access to the P.68B’s critical sections is supported by a variety of platforms and stands. The nose section and cockpit/windshield areas benefit from elevated platforms like the Reach Deck Platform and Platform Ladder Warthog. Fuselage access, including main entry doors, cargo areas, and the wing box, is facilitated by Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Decks. For the engines, wings, and tail (empennage) elements such as the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, specialized height solutions like the Super Maintenance Platform, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand provide excellent and stable working areas. These access solutions ensure thorough servicing of the landing gear, engines, and avionics throughout the aircraft.
