N22C

The N22C is a model variant of the aircraft series produced by Government Aircraft Factories (GAF).

GAF was a foundational Australian government-owned company established in 1939, just before World War II, initially known as the Department of Aircraft Production (DAP). Located in Fishermans Bend, Victoria, the company was indispensable for building aircraft under license, such as the Avro Lincoln bomber and English Electric Canberra twin-jet tactical bomber, and later developing indigenous designs like the GAF Jindivik and GAF Nomad. The company was eventually incorporated as ASTA and subsequently acquired by Boeing Australia.

Access solutions are required for the N22C’s maintenance across all primary sections. Adjustable platforms and stands, such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand, are ideal for nose section tasks like radome and windshield maintenance, as well as for forward fuselage work including cabin access and lighting systems. These platforms also provide access to the landing gear areas (NLG and MLG).

For the wing box area and engine pylon maintenance, including engine component checks and fuel tank access, Cantilever Platforms, Bridge Decks, and Super Maintenance Platforms offer first-class, stable working environments. Trestle Scaffold and Platform Ladders support general access needs around the AFT fuselage and tail section components like the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and rudder. The Branach Fibreglass Platform is suitable for electrical work, particularly around rear avionics and APU compartments in the AFT fuselage and tail section.
