MAMBA 1

The MAMBA 1 is an Australian two-seat light aircraft, originally conceived and built by Melbourne Aircraft Corporation (MAC). It was developed for general aviation, including training and agricultural work, with its first flight on January 25, 1989. MAC’s history is brief, as the company was renamed International Aircraft Corporation (IAC) in 1990. The aircraft’s early development received support from the Australian government’s Grants for Industrial Research and Development (GIRD) scheme.

A suite of access solutions is available for maintaining this airframe. Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stands offer comprehensive access across the nose section (radome, avionics) and tail section (stabilisers, rudder).

The Ultraraise, Easyraise, and Super Maintenance Platforms are engineered to facilitate detailed work on the middle and AFT fuselage, where fuel tanks and rear avionics reside. Cantilever Platforms and Bridge Decks are foundational tools for servicing the Wing and Engine Pylon areas, covering components like engine inlets and hydraulics. A Frame Aviation Platforms and Platform Ladder Warthogs assist with routine inspections and maintenance across the landing gear and forward fuselage systems. The Branach Fibreglass Platform offers non-conductive access, and the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley ensures aircraft stability.
