M20G

The M20G Statesman is a notable aircraft in the M20 family, certified in November 1967. It features the lengthened fuselage of the M20F combined with the 180-horsepower carbureted engine of the M20C. This model is part of a series of popular four-seat speedsters produced by its manufacturer.

Mooney Aircraft, founded by Al Mooney in 1929 in Wichita, Kansas, became a foundational name in general aviation. The company relocated its headquarters to Kerrville, Texas, in 1953.
