M20E

The M20E, also known as the Super 21, is a high-performance variant of the foundational M20 series. Mooney Aircraft, the manufacturer, began its history in 1929, gaining renown for its focus on efficiency and speed, characterized by its distinctive forward-swept tail. The M20 series first appeared in 1955. The M20E was introduced in the 1960s, featuring a 200 hp engine that delivered increased cruising speed and climb rate, making it highly popular in the private aviation market.

A range of platforms and stands are used for detailed maintenance on this aircraft. Access solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms support maintenance across critical areas including the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics, windshield, and cockpit) and the Forward Fuselage, addressing needs like cabin access and environmental control systems.

For the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and the middle fuselage/wing box area, products like the Super Trestle Scaffold and Ultraraise provide indispensable access. These stands also facilitate work around the Wing & Engine Pylon for tasks concerning the engine, hydraulics, and fuel systems, ensuring thorough inspections of all sections, including the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (empennage).
