M-7-235

The M-7-235 is a high-wing, single-engine utility aircraft produced by MAULE AIR, known for its short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance and versatility across challenging terrains, including water or tundra when equipped with floats or tundra tires. The M-7 series, which includes the -235 model, had its first flight in 1984.

MAULE AIR, founded by Belford D. Maule, has a foundational history rooted in producing sturdy, general aviation aircraft. From its beginnings, the company focused on building planes prized for their exceptional backcountry capability and rugged construction. The M-7 continues this lineage, evolving previous successful designs while retaining the durability and ease of maintenance essential for utility roles.

To support detailed maintenance, various access equipment is utilized across the aircraft. Platforms and stands are foundational for working on the Wing & Engine Pylon section, specifically reaching the Pylon, Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), and Undercowl components. Modular platforms and scaffold solutions provide access to the AFT Fuselage for inspecting the AFT Bulkhead and Rear Avionics. Similarly, these access solutions are indispensable for servicing the Tail Section (Empennage), particularly the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers and the Rudder. Smaller platform ladders are used for detailed tasks on the Nose Section, such as inspecting the Windshield & Cockpit, and for general access around the Forward Fuselage, assisting with Cabin Access and cargo area checks. For Main Landing Gear (MLG) and Nose Landing Gear (NLG) maintenance, specialized maintenance stands offer the ideal height and stability.
