M-18

The M-18 Dromader is a single-engine agricultural aircraft, used widely across the globe for crop dusting and firefighting missions. It features a sturdy design intended for demanding aerial application tasks.

Manufacture of the M-18 Dromader traces back to Polish aviation efforts in the mid-1970s. The aircraft first flew on August 27, 1976. While the M-18 is often associated with PZL-Mielec for its primary production, the development involved cooperation across the state-owned aviation industry, including the PZL Warszawa-Okecie facility. PZL (Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze) represents the foundational Polish aerospace industry responsible for many foundational and enduring aircraft designs.

For maintaining the M-18, access platforms and stands are indispensable for reaching key areas. Cantilever and Super Maintenance Platforms provide access to the Wing & Engine Pylon section, supporting detailed maintenance on the engine and hydraulics. For landing gear components and the Forward Wheel Well Access, solutions like the Ultraraise or Easyraise are excellent for efficient vertical reach. Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Decks offer access over the fuselage, facilitating work on the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section components like the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. These access products ensure thorough and methodical servicing across the entire airframe.
