L-39C

The L-39C Albatros is a high-performance jet trainer aircraft manufactured by Aero Vodochody. Developed in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s to replace the L-29 Delfín, the L-39 was the first second-generation jet trainer and the first to be powered by a turbofan engine. Serial production began in 1971. The L-39C is primarily a basic trainer, typically unarmed, although it includes under-wing pylons for drop tanks and practice weapons. Later variants, like the ZA, featured light-attack capabilities. Production of the L-39 has concluded, replaced by the L-159.

Maintaining the L-39C requires access solutions for several critical areas. These areas include the Nose Section, crucial for the radome, antenna, and avionics. The Forward Fuselage requires elevation access for the Main Entry Door, cargo, and lighting systems, as well as the Environmental Control System.

Sturdy access platforms support work around the landing gear, both nose and main. Maintenance also focuses on the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, which houses the fuel tanks and oil maintenance points. Specialized stands facilitate detailed work on the Wing and Engine Pylon sections, covering the inlet, exhaust, and complex hydraulic and fuel systems. Finally, access is necessary for the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section, which includes stabilizers and rudder components.
