K35

The K35 is a specific model within the storied Beechcraft Bonanza series. Introduced in 1959, the K35 improved upon previous designs with an increased fuel capacity, a raised maximum takeoff weight, and the availability of an optional fifth seat. The aircraft was powered by a 250 hp fuel-injected Continental IO-470-C engine. A total of 436 K35 units were manufactured by Beechcraft.

Beechcraft has a long, foundational history in aviation, known for producing civil and military aircraft since its founding in 1932 by Walter H. Beech. The Bonanza line, which includes the K35, is one of the company’s most enduring and successful designs, originating with the revolutionary Model 35 in 1947. Over decades, Beechcraft aircraft gained a reputation for performance, quality construction, and efficiency, cementing the manufacturer as an indispensable part of general aviation.

A range of access platforms and solutions are employed for maintenance around the K35 aircraft. Equipment such as deck platforms, modular stepover platforms, scaffolding systems, and various stands provide essential height access. These platforms address maintenance needs across the airframe, including the nose section for avionics and cockpit windshields, the forward and middle fuselage for cargo and wing box inspection, and the tail section for stabilizer access. Specialized solutions like aviation chocks are also available for aircraft securing.
