JAGUAR B

The JAGUAR B is the two-seat trainer variant of the SEPECAT Jaguar, a supersonic attack aircraft. This foundational platform was developed by the multinational consortium SEPECAT, a joint venture between Breguet of France and British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) of the UK. The manufacturing period lasted from 1968 to 1981, with the Jaguar B prototype taking its first flight on August 30, 1971. The Jaguar proved reliable, serving with several air forces, including the RAF and French Air Force, until its retirement in the mid-2000s.

A variety of platforms and access solutions are utilized to support thorough maintenance on the Jaguar B. Modular stepover platforms and Cantilever platforms provide access to the nose section for avionics and cockpit inspections. High-reach equipment like the Ultraraise and Super Service Stand is indispensable for detailed work on the Wing & Engine Pylon, addressing areas such as the engine inlet/exhaust, fan, and hydraulics. Smaller, tough platform ladders are used for routine maintenance on the landing gear and lower fuselage areas, ensuring methodical upkeep across the aircraft’s entire surface, from the forward fuselage to the tail section’s stabilizers and rudder.
