J1B

The Auster J/1B Aiglet, a British light civil utility aircraft, made its first flight in 1950. It was developed by Auster Aircraft, a manufacturer whose designer, C.G. Taylor, had experience with the Piper Aircraft Company in the United States. Auster Aircraft built 86 models of the J/1B, evolving it from the Auster J/1 Autocrat. It found primary use with agricultural contractors and private owners, and some airframes remain airworthy in countries like Australia, New Zealand, and the U.K.

Platforms and access solutions used for this aircraft include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog. These products provide access and maintenance support across various aircraft sections.

For the Nose Section, these products facilitate access to the windshield & cockpit. In the Forward Fuselage, they are used for cabin access. The stands and platforms are also necessary for maintenance around the Landing Gear (NLG + MLG). For the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, they support access to the wing box and cabin interior. The platforms are applicable to the Tail Section (Empennage) for maintenance on the vertical and horizontal stabilisers, and the rudder. Comprehensive access across the aircraft is provided by these solutions.
