IIIF

The Auster Aircraft IIIF is part of a lineage of light aircraft produced by Auster Aircraft Limited, a British manufacturer that began in 1938 as Taylorcraft Aeroplanes (England) Limited. During World War II, Auster aircraft became foundational for Air Observation Squadrons, with over 1,630 aircraft manufactured for wartime service. The company continued production until 1960 when it merged to form Beagle Aircraft.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. Equipment such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand provide excellent access for various maintenance tasks.

The Super Maintenance Platform and A Frame Aviation Platform address Nose Section requirements (e.g., Windshield & Cockpit and Nose Avionics) and General Access needs across the fuselage. Ladder access equipment is optimal for servicing Forward Fuselage sections like Cargo/Baggage and Cabin Access. For the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), solutions like the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley and various maintenance stands simplify required checks.

Platforms are often applied to the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area to service Fuel Tanks and internal cabin areas. Cantilever and Bridge Deck platforms enable methodical work on the Wing, Pylons, and engine components (Inlet/Exhaust, Fan, Compressor, Turbine, and Hydraulics). Finally, platforms facilitate access to the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage) for maintenance on the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers and Rudder.
