H225

The H225 is a heavy-duty, long-range passenger helicopter manufactured by Airbus Helicopters. A part of the Super Puma family, the H225 is a twin-engine rotorcraft capable of carrying up to 28 passengers and is utilized across a variety of demanding missions, including offshore transport, search and rescue, and governmental operations. Its advanced avionics and autopilot systems make it highly efficient, particularly in challenging environments.

Airbus Helicopters, formerly Eurocopter, has a manufacturing history rooted in the merger of the helicopter divisions of French and German aerospace companies, Aérospatiale and Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA), in 1992. The company, a division of Airbus, is a global leader in rotorcraft production, with a rich history of developing diverse and versatile helicopter platforms, building on decades of innovation and experience.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized around the H225, including elevated platforms, modular stepover platforms, scaffold systems, and maintenance stands. These products help solve access needs for numerous aircraft sections. For the nose section, access solutions facilitate maintenance for the radome, antenna, and nose avionics. Along the forward fuselage, they provide access for the Main Entry Door (MED), cargo areas, and cabin systems. Specialized stands are required for the nose and main landing gear. For the middle fuselage and wing box area, access supports work on the wing box and fuel tanks. Engine and pylon maintenance, including work on the inlet, exhaust, and complex components like the FADEC/EEC, also relies on these solutions. AFT fuselage areas such as the bulkhead, cargo doors, and APU compartments require robust access. Finally, the tail section, including the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and rudder, depends on safe, methodical access.
