The Airbus Helicopters H125 (formerly known as the Eurocopter AS350 B3e and Écureuil family) is a single-engine, high-performance light utility helicopter renowned for its exceptional performance in hot and high conditions. Manufactured by Airbus Helicopters, a division of Airbus and one of the world’s largest helicopter manufacturers, the H125 lineage dates back to the Aerospatiale Écureuil (Squirrel) series introduced in the 1970s. The H125 is the latest evolution, featuring advanced technology, including a powerful Turbomeca Arriel 2D engine equipped with a dual-channel FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) system. This model famously set a world record for the highest landing and takeoff ever performed by a helicopter on Mount Everest.
