GULFSTREAM G150

The GULFSTREAM G150 is a midsize business jet known for its excellent range and performance capabilities. Typically configured with one and a half cabin zones, this aircraft offers a range of approximately 3,000 nautical miles, making it ideal for transcontinental travel. Produced between 2006 and 2016, the G150 is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-40AR engines. Its speed and efficiency solidified its position in the business aviation sector.

The manufacturer, Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), now known as Israel Aerospace Industries, has a foundational history dating back to 1953. It began as the Bedek Aviation Company, established by the Ministry of Defense to maintain Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) aircraft. Based at Lod Airport, IAI quickly expanded beyond maintenance into design and manufacturing. Key early aircraft produced by the company include the Fouga-Magister trainer and the Arava short takeoff and landing (STOL) transport aircraft. The company has since evolved into a foundational leader in aviation and defense technology.

A variety of access solutions are used for servicing and maintenance around this aircraft. These include platforms and stands offering access to the Nose Section components like the radome and avionics, and the Forward Fuselage for cargo, lighting, and cabin entry. Access platforms also service the Landing Gear, Wing Box Area, and the Engine Pylon for detailed engine maintenance (inlet, exhaust, compressor, turbine). Cantilever and bridge decks are vital for access to the Aft Fuselage and Tail Section, enabling thorough work on components like the APU and stabilisers.
