The GlobalEye is a specialized Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) and surveillance aircraft. Entering service in April 2020, its primary sensor, the Erieye ER radar, is mounted atop the fuselage for advanced air, sea, and land surveillance capabilities, including electronic intelligence functions.

Maintenance access solutions aid operations across the entire airframe. The Reach Deck Platform, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand provide broad access across the fuselage and wings. These solutions facilitate maintenance on the Nose Section (radome, antenna, avionics), the Forward Fuselage (cabin access, environmental control systems), and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box area (fuel tanks, cabin interior, Wi-Fi).
For the Wing and Engine Pylon areas—crucial for anti-ice systems, engine components (inlet, exhaust, fan, turbine, hydraulics), and fuel pumps—Cantilever Platforms and Bridge Decks offer specialized reach. The AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (empennage), including APU components and stabilizers, can be maintained effectively using A Frame Aviation Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, and Super Maintenance Platforms. Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) servicing is supported by devices like the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley and various stands. Platform Ladders are used for General Access needs across the airframe.
