GA10

The GippsAero GA10 Airvan is a 10-seat, single-engine utility aircraft powered by a Rolls Royce 250-B17/F2 turboprop. Developed from the successful GippsAero GA8 Airvan, the GA10 prototype completed its first flight in May 2012 and received certification from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority and the American Federal Aviation Administration in 2017. Manufactured in Victoria, Australia, the GA10 is a light commercial transport designed for challenging, real-world operations.

GippsAero, established in 1977 as Gippsland Aeronautics, built its foundation on Australian engineering excellence, originally focusing on modifying agricultural aircraft. The company began producing its own designs, such as the GA200 Fatman and the GA8 Airvan. In December 2009, Mahindra Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. acquired a majority stake, supporting the development of new products like the GA10.

A range of platforms and access solutions assists detailed maintenance around this aircraft. Modular Stepover Platforms, Reach Deck Platforms, and Super Maintenance Platforms provide access to key areas. For the Wing & Engine Pylon section, these access tools are crucial for servicing the Pylon, Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), and the Fan, Compressor, and Turbine components. Easyraise and Ultraraise platforms also facilitate access to the Tail Section for maintenance on the Vertical Stabiliser and Rudder. For the Nose Section, access is required for the Windshield & Cockpit and Bulkhead. The available platforms support every major aircraft section, from the Forward Fuselage (Cargo/Baggage, Cabin Access) to the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), ensuring thorough maintenance for this sturdy utility aircraft.
