GA-8

The GA-8 Airvan is a foundational single-engine utility aircraft produced by Gippsland Aeronautics, now known as GippsAero. Designed to seat up to eight people, including the pilot, the high-wing aircraft is favored for its large cabin, excellent visibility, and dependable performance across various utility roles. It is powered by a Lycoming O-540 engine.

Gippsland Aeronautics, an Australian company based in Victoria, developed the GA-8, with the maiden flight occurring in February 1995. The aircraft entered service around 2000 and has since become a globally recognized platform. The company’s history evolved significantly when the Indian company Mahindra Aerospace acquired a majority shareholding in 2010. Production continues under GippsAero, offering variants like the GA8 and the turbocharged GA8-TC 320.

Access solutions, including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stand, are employed to facilitate detailed and methodical maintenance across the aircraft, including the engine, forward fuselage, landing gear, and tail sections. These platforms provide stable access for all required servicing procedures.
