FU-24A-950

The FU-24A-950 is a variant of the Fletcher FU-24, known for its dual controls. The FU-24’s production was taken up by Air Parts (NZ) after it ceased in the US in 1965. Air Parts (NZ) initially formed in 1957 to distribute parts for the aircraft. In 1972, Air Parts (NZ) merged with AESL (Aero Engine Services Ltd) to become NZ Aerospace Industries, which continued manufacturing the aircraft in Hamilton, New Zealand.

For the Nose Section (Radome, Antenna, Nose Avionics, Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Forward Fuselage, Landing Gear (Nose and Main), Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area (Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, Oil Maintenance, Cabin Interior, Wi-Fi, Emergency Exit), AFT Fuselage, and Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizer, Rudder), the following are available: Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog. The Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley is also foundational for general access and securing the aircraft.
