FU-24-950M

The FU-24-950M is an iteration of the Fletcher FU-24, originally designed for agricultural work. The aircraft is known for its sturdy construction and utility. Production of the FU-24 series began in the mid-1950s by the Fletcher Aviation Corporation. Airparts (NZ) Ltd later acquired the manufacturing rights, continuing production and development in New Zealand. Airparts NZ adapted and improved the design for various roles beyond agriculture, establishing a legacy of robust utility aircraft manufacturing.

A selection of access and work platforms supports maintenance across this aircraft. Solutions like the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms facilitate access to the Nose Section components, including the radome and avionics. For the Landing Gear, access platforms ensure mechanics can efficiently service both the Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear.

The Ultraraise and Super Service Stand offer elevation for work around the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, enabling detailed access for fuel tank maintenance and interior work. Specialized Cantilever Platforms and Bridge Decks are foundational for reaching the Wing & Engine Pylon areas, critical for servicing the engine, hydraulics, and fuel pumps. Vertical access tools are also available for the Tail Section, supporting maintenance on the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and rudder.
