FU-24-950

The FU-24-950 is a variant of the Fletcher FU-24, a foundational agricultural aircraft originating in New Zealand. It was one of the earliest aircraft specifically designed for aerial topdressing, though it has served various utility roles, including skydiving. The manufacturing history involves Airparts (NZ), which was established in 1958. Airparts (NZ) is part of the lineage of companies that produced and maintained these aircraft, leading eventually to New Zealand Aerospace Industries and Pacific Aerospace Corporation.

Access solutions are available to address maintenance needs across the FU-24-950. A range of platforms and stands is useful for maintaining aircraft sections like the Wing and Engine Pylon, which require access to the engine inlet/exhaust and undercowl. Modular platforms and trestle scaffold are beneficial for the Fuselage areas—both forward and aft—facilitating access to cargo, cabin doors, and bulkheads.

Specialized platforms, such as cantilever and bridge decks, help technicians reach the Tail Section for work on the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and rudder. Solutions like the Reach Deck Platform and Platform Ladder assist with general access and specific points like the Nose Section for radome and avionics inspection, or the Landing Gear for routine checks of the Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear. These products ensure methodical and safe access for all necessary maintenance.
