FLEET 2

The FLEET 2 is a classic two-seat, open-cockpit biplane, famously rugged and utilized extensively for training and aerobatics. FLEET Aircraft Inc. manufactured the Model 2, beginning production around 1929 in Buffalo, New York. The aircraft gained notoriety quickly, with instances like stunt flier Paul Mantz achieving a record 46 outside loops in 1930, demonstrating its sturdy design. The construction features a steel tube frame, spruce wing spars, aluminum ribs, and a fabric covering, typically powered by a Kinner K5 100 hp engine.

Access solutions, including Reach Deck Platforms, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stands, are vital for maintaining this classic aircraft. These products support detailed work across key areas. Access is enabled for the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access), and Landing Gear (Main Landing Gear and Nose Landing Gear). They also facilitate servicing the Wing Box Area and the Engine components.
