FBA-2C1

The FBA-2C1 Bush Hawk is a sturdy, high-wing monoplane recognized for its short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, making it ideal for utility operations. This aircraft is a modern iteration of the original FBA-2 design.

FOUND Aircraft Canada has a history tracing back to the original manufacturer, which ceased production of the FBA-2 in 1967. The company re-formed and successfully placed the aircraft back into production in 1997 as the FBA-2C1 Bush Hawk, and later the FBA-2C2 Bush Hawk-XP. Expanding its reach, the manufacturer later launched the Expedition Aircraft brand to develop new models, including the E350 and E350XC, targeting the private pilot market.

A variety of access platforms and solutions are employed for maintenance around this aircraft. These access platforms support detailed work on all sections, including the Nose Section (Radome, Avionics, Windshield & Cockpit), the Landing Gear (Nose and Main), and the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (stabilizers and rudder). Furthermore, mobile platforms and stands provide foundational access for maintenance on the Wing & Engine Pylon area, supporting thorough inspection and repair of components like the engine inlet, fan, and hydraulic systems. Access solutions ensure optimal coverage for the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box areas, vital for fuel tank and internal cabin maintenance.
