Fairchild-Dornier 328JET

The Fairchild-Dornier 328JET is a regional airliner developed in Germany, originating as a turbofan variant of the Dornier 328 to appeal to market preferences for jet engines. Fairchild Dornier, the manufacturer, formally launched the 328JET program in early 1997, and the aircraft first flew on January 20, 1998. It became the final Dornier-designed aircraft to reach production before the company’s insolvency in 2002. A total of 110 units were built between 1996 and 2002.

A range of platforms and access solutions—including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Branach Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog—are utilized for maintenance and inspection across the aircraft.

Access solutions support comprehensive servicing of the Nose Section, including the radome and windshield. For the Forward Fuselage, access is crucial for the main entry door, cargo areas, and environmental control system. Landing Gear maintenance is supported for both the nose and main landing gear.

In the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, stands and platforms provide access to the wing box, fuel tanks, and cabin interior. Access for the Wing & Engine Pylon is detailed, covering the engine inlet/exhaust, fan, compressor, turbine, and hydraulics. The AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage) benefit from specialized platforms for the rear avionics, APU compartments, vertical stabilizer, and rudder. These products provide the necessary access for methodical maintenance across all critical aircraft sections.
