FA-200-180/A1

The FA-200-180/A1 is a variant of the Fuji FA-200 Aero Subaru, a low-wing, all-metal aircraft featuring a fixed nosewheel undercarriage and a sliding canopy. Its manufacturer, FUJI HEAVY Industries, traces its history back to the Nakajima Aircraft Company, which it absorbed in 1953. Production of the FA-200 series began in 1968 and continued until 1986, with a total of 275 aircraft built. The first flight of the Aero Subaru occurred in 1965.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Maintenance Platform provide access for work across the General Access, Forward Fuselage (specifically Cabin Access, Cargo/Baggage, and Lighting Systems), Middle Fuselage, and Tail Section (Empennage) for Vertical Stabiliser and Horizontal Stabiliser maintenance.

Specific access equipment addresses detailed maintenance needs. Easyraise, Bridge Deck, and Cantilever Platform support detailed work on the Wing & Engine Pylon section, particularly on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Engine Body, and Undercowl. For the Nose Section, A Frame Aviation Platform and Platform Ladder Warthog aid maintenance for the Windshield & Cockpit and Nose Avionics. Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley secures the aircraft during Landing Gear (NLG + MLG) inspections. The Branach Fibreglass Platform is suitable for electrical or antenna work on the Nose Section and Wing.
