FA-200-160

The FA-200-160 is a version of the Fuji FA-200 Aero Subaru, a foundational four-seat, single-engine light aircraft. The aircraft features a low-wing, all-metal construction, fixed nosewheel undercarriage, and a sliding canopy. It achieved certification in Japan in 1966, followed by U.S. certification in 1967. Production for the series began in March 1968 and continued until 1986, resulting in 275 units built.

FUJI HEAVY Industries, the manufacturer, is a Japanese industrial company with deep roots in aviation, having absorbed the Nakajima Aircraft Company in 1953. This lineage establishes the company as a key contributor to aircraft design and manufacturing history.

Various platforms and access solutions are utilized for this aircraft’s maintenance. Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Deck are ideal for accessing the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, addressing maintenance around fuel tanks and the wing box. The Cantilever Platform offers precise reach for the Wing & Engine Pylon sections, necessary for work on the engine body, flaps, and hydraulics. For routine tasks on the Landing Gear, a Platform Ladder Warthog provides secure access. When working on the Nose Section, including the windshield and cockpit, a Reach Deck Platform or A Frame Aviation Platform is suitable. The Super Maintenance Platform is adaptable for general access across the Forward and AFT Fuselage sections, ensuring comprehensive coverage for doors, cargo, and avionics.
