F28 MK 0070

The F28 MK 0070 is a variant of the Fokker F28 Fellowship, a foundational turbofan-powered regional airliner developed by the Dutch manufacturer, Fokker. Following the success of the F27 Friendship turboprop, Fokker embarked on the F28 program, with the first flight occurring on May 9, 1967, and entry into service in 1969. Production of the F28 Fellowship continued until 1987, resulting in 241 units and paving the way for later designs like the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100.

Maintaining the F28 MK 0070 requires dependable access solutions for a detailed inspection of all critical areas. A variety of platforms and access solutions support maintenance around this aircraft. For areas like the Nose Section (radome, antenna, nose avionics, cockpit, and bulkhead), Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, cargo access, and lighting systems), and Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), access products like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Ultraraise, and Platform Ladder Warthog are utilized. For maintenance around the Middle Fuselage, Wing & Engine Pylon, and Tail Section (Empennage), access platforms are indispensable for servicing components such as the wing box, fuel tanks, engines (inlet/exhaust), and the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. These sturdy, height access systems ensure a methodical approach to aircraft service.
