F-5F/N Tiger II

The F-5F/N Tiger II is a foundational adversary fighter aircraft, utilized for tactical reconnaissance and air-to-air combat training. The F-5F is a two-seat version that entered deployment in 1974, while the updated F-5N adversary fighter was deployed in 2003. Both models are powered by twin J85-GE-21C afterburning turbojet engines.

The aircraft was originally developed by Northrop (now Northrop Grumman), a company with a long and influential history in aerospace and defense, dating back to 1939. Known for pioneering innovative aircraft designs, the company established a legacy of producing versatile and cost-effective military platforms like the F-5 series, which has been exported and utilized globally. Northrop Grumman continues to be a world leader in security and technology.

Maintaining the F-5F/N requires methodical access for detailed inspection. The Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stands are utilized for maintenance across the aircraft. These products support access to critical areas, including the Nose Section (Radome, Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine Inlet/Exhaust, Fan, Compressor, Turbine, Hydraulics). For the Tail Section (Empennage), access solutions facilitate work on the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers.
