F-28C

The Enstrom F-28C is a light helicopter variant in the F-28 family, renowned for its stability and performance as a training and personal utility aircraft. The F-28C is characterized by its 205 hp turbocharged Lycoming HIO-360 engine, which provided increased power and gross weight capacity over the initial production model. This model was certified in the mid-1970s.

The manufacturer, Enstrom Helicopter Corporation, traces its history to engineer Rudy J. Enstrom, who designed and flew the experimental two-seat F-28 in 1960. The company formally began production of the F-28 series in 1965 and has continuously manufactured helicopters since then. Enstrom is known for producing high-quality rotorcraft, including the F-28 series, the two-seat 280 series, and the turbine-powered 480 series.
