EXTRA NG

The EXTRA NG is the next generation of aerobatic aircraft, designed as a technically advanced and innovative two-seat German aerobatic monoplane. EXTRA Aircraft, founded in Germany in 1980 as Extra Flugzeugbau by accomplished aerobatic pilot Walter Extra, is the manufacturer. The company has a longstanding history of designing and developing high-performance aerobatic planes, producing over 850 aircraft since its founding. The EXTRA NG is the rightful successor to their legendary line of competition aircraft.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for detailed maintenance and inspection of the EXTRA NG. Solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Easyraise are necessary for accessing various critical aircraft sections. This includes the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the Wing & Engine area (Engine, Flap, Undercowl). Specialised access supports methodical maintenance across the entire structure, ensuring operational readiness.
