EMB-505

The EMB-505, known commercially as the Phenom 300, is a business jet aircraft produced by Embraer. This twin-engine light jet first flew in 2008 and received its FAA Type Certification as the EMB-505 in December 2009. The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E turbofans and is distinguished by its range and high ceiling. Since its introduction, the Phenom 300 family has seen continued production, including the later Phenom 300E model introduced in 2018.

Embraer, the manufacturer, was founded in 1969 by the Brazilian government as a national champion for aerospace technology. Over more than five decades, the company has delivered over 9,000 aircraft globally. While initially focused on military and regional airliners, Embraer expanded successfully into the executive jet market, leading to aircraft like the EMB-505.
