EMB-120 ER

The EMB-120 ER (Extended Range), also known as the Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia, is a twin-turboprop regional airliner introduced in the mid-1980s. Development for the EMB 120 began in 1974, with the first flight occurring on July 27, 1983, and entry into service in October 1985. The EMB-120 ER variant, adopted as the standard production model from 1993 until production ceased in 2001, increased the aircraft’s range to 1,575 km. It was the last turboprop-powered airliner produced by its manufacturer, with 357 units built.

Embraer, the Brazilian aerospace corporation, was founded in 1969. In more than five decades, the company has delivered over 9,000 aircraft globally. Embraer has designed and certified over 40 aircraft models, establishing itself as a major force in the global aviation industry.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance and inspection of the EMB-120 ER. These solutions, including the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms, support access across critical areas such as the Nose Section (including Radome and Windshield & Cockpit), Forward Fuselage (for Cabin Access and Cargo/Baggage), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the Wing & Engine Pylon section (for Engine maintenance, Hydraulics, and Fuel Tanks/Pumps). Detailed access is also supported for the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section.
