EC135 T1

The EC135 T1 is a highly successful light utility helicopter, originally developed by Eurocopter, which became part of Airbus Helicopters. The EC135 program began with the Bo 108 demonstrator’s first flight in 1988. The EC135 T1 variant, powered by Turbomeca Arrius 2B engines, had its maiden flight in 1994 and entered service around 1996. It features a Fenestron tail rotor for safety and low noise. Airbus Helicopters, Inc. itself was founded in 1969, and rebranded in 2014, continuing the legacy of manufacturing various rotary-wing aircraft globally.

For access and maintenance around the EC135 T1, numerous solutions address different aircraft areas. Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms are effective for general access (AF-BF) and components like the nose avionics and windshield in the Nose Section.

For the Landing Gear, stands like the Super Service Stand and Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley provide necessary positioning and stability. The Engine and Wing Pylon areas, involving detailed tasks on the engine body, fan, and hydraulics, benefit from Cantilever Platforms and Super Maintenance Platforms.

For thorough work on the Tail Section’s vertical and horizontal stabilizers, or AFT Fuselage components like the rear avionics and APU compartments, access solutions such as the Super Trestle Scaffold and Ultraraise offer dependable and stable work surfaces. For cabin access and cargo areas in the Forward Fuselage, Platform Ladder Warthog and Easyraise are indispensable tools. Branach Fibreglass Platforms provide specialized access where non-conductive materials are optimal.
