EC135 P2+

The EC135 P2+ is a twin-engine utility helicopter manufactured by Airbus Helicopters. The program began as the MBB Bo. 108, a development intended to combine the attributes of the successful Bo. 105 with new technologies. First flown in 1994, the aircraft has been in service since 1996, acquiring millions of flight hours across various missions. Airbus Helicopters, formed through various mergers, is a global leader in the aerospace industry.

A range of work platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. These solutions—including deck platforms, modular stepover platforms, scaffold, super service stands, and cantilever platforms—facilitate maintenance access across all critical aircraft sections.

Access solutions aid in service tasks related to the nose section (radome, antenna, avionics, cockpit, bulkhead) and forward fuselage maintenance (Main Entry Door, cargo, lighting, cabin access, and Environmental Control System). They are also indispensable for work on the landing gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear), as well as maintenance within the middle fuselage and wing box area (fuel tanks, oil maintenance, and cabin interior).

For the wing and engine pylon, access equipment supports tasks on the pylon, anti-ice systems, and all components of the engine (inlet, exhaust, fan, compressor, turbine). Furthermore, access is provided for the AFT fuselage (bulkhead, cargo, doors, APU compartments) and the tail section or empennage (vertical and horizontal stabilisers, rudder, and APU components).
