EA 300L

The EA 300L is a two-seat aerobatic monoplane built by EXTRA Aircraft, capable of Unlimited category competition. Designed by German aerobatic pilot Walter Extra in 1987, the aircraft is manufactured by Extra Flugzeugbau. The design evolved from the earlier Extra 230. The EA 300L features a welded steel tube fuselage covered in aluminum and fabric, and a midset wing with a carbon fiber composite spar and skins. The 300L variant is powered by a Lycoming AEIO-540 engine and features a low-mounted wing and a shorter fuselage. This two-seat variant has been the most produced model in the series since its introduction.
