E190

The Embraer E190 is a narrow-body, medium-range jet airliner, part of the Embraer E-Jet family of aircraft. It is designed and manufactured by the Brazilian aerospace company Embraer, which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial, executive, military, and agricultural aircraft.

The E-Jet family, including the E190, was launched in the early 2000s, marking a significant step for Embraer into the mainline jet market. The E190 first flew in March 2004 and entered commercial service in 2005. It typically seats between 96 and 114 passengers, offering airlines a balance of capacity and operating efficiency, especially suited for high-demand regional routes or smaller markets where larger jets are less economical.

Common locations and regions where the E190 is frequently used include Europe, North America, and Asia, often serving as a key component of regional fleets for major airlines. It is commonly seen in major hubs and regional airports around the world. Examples of operational locations mentioned in flight data include Paris, France; Oslo, Norway; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Toronto, Canada; Helsinki, Finland; Denver, USA; and San Jose, Costa Rica. Its versatility has made it popular for both scheduled passenger services and corporate transport.
