DHA-3 MK 3

The DHA-3 MK 3 is a variant of the De Havilland Drover aircraft, manufactured by De Havilland Aircraft Pty Ltd in Sydney. This version was an upgrade to earlier models, replacing the 145 hp Gipsy Majors with three 180 hp Lycoming 0-360 engines, alongside other essential modifications. The first Mk 3 modification flew in September 1959.

De Havilland Aircraft Pty Ltd built only 20 DHA-3 Drovers at Bankstown Airport over a nine-year period. This Australian manufacturing subsidiary of the globally recognized De Havilland brand focused on local production and modifications to support Australian aviation needs.
