DC3-G202A

The DC3-G202A is a variant of the legendary Douglas DC-3, an aircraft that revolutionized air travel. This specific model, often configured for 21 passengers, was built by Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica, California, with deliveries, such as one to TWA in March 1941, marking its entry into commercial service. The aircraft became known for its sturdy design and reliability, qualities that secured its extensive use in both civilian and military roles globally.

Douglas Aircraft, established by Donald W. Douglas in 1920, became a foundational force in aviation. The company, which developed the DC-3 from the earlier DC-2, maintained its reputation through decades of manufacturing aircraft that defined their eras.

A range of platforms and access solutions support detailed maintenance across the DC3-G202A. These include the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Easyraise. Such platforms provide essential access to critical areas. This includes the Nose Section (for avionics and the windshield), the Forward Fuselage (for main entry door and cabin access), the Landing Gear, the Wing Box Area (for fuel tank maintenance), the Wing & Engine Pylons (for engine and hydraulic servicing), and the Tail Section (Empennage) for stabilizer work.
